This project was designed as part of my employment with HDR.
The PROJECT
mConnect is a bus rapid transit system connecting Memphis’ medical district, university district, and downtown areas. mConnect is positioned as a compelling, future-focused experience that’s friendly, inclusive, and authentic. It’s eye-catching and exciting, with messaging focused on bringing the community along for the ride.
The STRATEGY
Because this project focused on providing transit customers with increased flexibility, imagery and brand components needed to reflect that theme. Imagery is based on a mix-and-match tapestry system of illustrations that can be customized for each location, stop, and route. These flexible components are tied together under the headline system of Bringing Memphis Closer, allowing the copy to mirror the visuals.
