The right road lost
Art Direction | Publication
While a student at Auburn University I was assigned a book design project that involved editing various source texts to form a highly conceptual publication. Upon receiving this challenge, I knew I wanted to work with the story of Dante's Inferno. My vision was to create a series of progressively shrinking die-cut circles that each represented a layer of hell as depicted in the epic. The final piece resulted in the pictured prototype that literally takes the reader on a journey deeper and deeper into the various circles of hell until they come out on the other side to see the stars.
